I see a tree. As I walk closer to the tree, I see the details that I couldn’t have noticed in the distance. The rind is thicker and harder than I have thought. It also has a unique stripe pattern composed of many different colors, not just brown. Although the trunk may seem to grow straightly upward, it is actually bent to left and right and sometimes split into halves. Nevertheless, the tree continuously corrects the direction and makes effort to reach higher. I can reflect myself from the tree. Hard rind that protects the tree from the harsh weather reflects my strong mentality that constantly raise myself up. My unique characteristic such as my own way of mood, thinking, and so on can be related to the tree’s very own patterns and colors of the rind. Also, the tree’s unceasing effort to grow taller reflects my passion to reach my goals. Although I sometimes get discouraged or weak, I never stop dreaming, because I know I will reach there some day.
